Coleen Rooney pictured for the first time since showdown with Wayne after ringing party girl to demand ‘blow-by-blow’ account of their boozy night that ended in drink-drive shame

Coleen Rooney, Wayney’s wife has been pictured for the first time since her showdown with Wayne, having called the girl at the centre of her husband’s drink-drive shame to demand: “Tell me the truth.”

Pregnant mum-of-three Coleen, 31, had a tense five-minute chat with Laura Simpson, 29, yesterday having jetted home from her sunny holiday in Majorca before fleeing to her parents’ home.

Everton ace Wayne, 31, was driving Laura home when he was nicked for drink-driving at 2am on Friday after a ten-hour booze session.

The pair had got a taxi from the club to pick up Laura’s VW Beetle, which Wayne was driving when police stopped them over a broken brake light.

The footballer was reportedly three times the legal limit, and Laura later faced a difficult phone call from his wife Coleen when she learned of his arrest.

She told The Sun on Sunday: “She asked me to tell her what happened.

“She seemed unhappy with the fact that we had left a nightclub in a cab together to go to my car.

“She did say both of us were at fault for getting in the taxi and that we shouldn’t have done that.”

The mum-of-three fled to her parents’ home after the scandal, with her white Range Rover seen parked outside their Huyton pad.

The home is around 40 minutes away from her Cheshire family home where Wayne is holed up.

Coleen first made contact with Laura on Instagram while still in Majorca on holiday with her and Rooney’s three sons.

Then at 1pm yesterday she called to demand a blow-by-blow account of the boozy night out.

Laura said: “She was polite. She asked whether my car was parked outside the nightclub.

“I told her it wasn’t and that it was outside a friend’s house and we had got a taxi to it.

“She asked, ‘Was your car not outside the front?’.

“I told her the truth, that it wasn’t and that we had left in a cab together to get my car which was parked outside a friend’s.

I apologised to her and she said, ‘You have nothing to say sorry for’.”
