Last night Jermaine Goupall, a 15-year-old aspiring architect, died after being attacked with a samurai sword in Thornton Heath, south London.

And last week a gifted young footballer was stabbed to death in the street after he was ambushed by a masked gang in Barking, East London.

Joshua Bwalya, 16, was leaving a party at a community centre with his two friends when the gang chased them.
