Buhari is corrupt, too tribal, may be Nigeria’s last President – MASSOB

Buhari removes Seiyefa as DSS boss, appoints Yusuf as new DG
  • Who has President Buhari sacked for the reported cases of corruptions and infractions in his government?
  • People of Biafra, Middle Belt and Oduduwa have watched, seen and experienced the unleashing of terrorist and genocidal wars,

BIAFRA – The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) on Sunday claimed that going by happenings in the country, President Muhammdu Buhari could be Nigeria’s last President.

This is as the group accused President Buhari of running a tribal and corrupt government.

The pro-Biafra group made the claims in a statement made available to DAILY POST by its leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, where he said Buhari was not fighting corruption but was favoring his kinsmen against other parts of the country.

Madu said rather than work as a leader for all the sections of the country, Buhari was pursuing ethnic and religious agenda.

He said in the statement that “President Buhari has shown to the world that he is an unrepentant and resolute promoter of Islamic fundamentalism.”

He further alleged that under the current administration, “the people of Biafra, Middle Belt and Oduduwa have watched, seen and experienced the unleashing of terrorist and genocidal wars, with the backing of Nigeria security agencies manned by Buhari’s kinsmen against the armless and innocent citizens of Biafra, Oduduwa, and Middle Belt.

“The consciousness for the survival of the people of Biafra, Oduduwa and Middle Belt has been reawakened and charged for self-defense and self-determination.

“We insist that President Buhari shall be the last president of this geographical expression called Nigeria because 2019 will surely manifest the last doom of Nigeria.”

On corruption in governance, Madu said “since the inception of democratic rule in Nigeria, the country has never be run in such high magnitude of illiterate tribal domination and corrupt tendencies.

“Records has it that President Obasanjo sacked his IGP Tafa Balogun for corruption. He backed the impeachment of the then Senate President, Adolfus Wabara for corruption allegations. He also sacked his own ministers, Fabian Osuji, S.M Afolabi, Hussein Akwanga, Tim Menakaya, etc for corruption cases. He also sacked Mrs. Mobolaji Osomo for the administrative infraction.

“The same way, late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua sacked Mrs. Adenike Grange as Minister of Health for the administrative infraction.

“It is on records that President Jonathan also sacked Stella Odua for corruption allegations, though she was one of the most powerful ministers in President Jonathan’s administration.

“President Jonathan also sacked Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform for issues of corruption.”

“Who has President Buhari sacked for the reported cases of corruptions and infractions in his government?” He queried.

He added that “in the case of former SGF, Babachir Lawal, we wish to remind that the same President Buhari wrote the Senate, defended and exonerated Babachir of all wrongdoings leveled against him. It was the cries of citizens that forced him to sack Babachir and have him replaced with his own brother, Boss Mustapha. In other words, Mr. Babachir brought his own replacement.

“MASSOB wish to remind the citizens that president Buhari also re-appointed the sacked corrupt men as a compensation for being Fulanis after they were all sacked for corruption and violation of their oaths of offices.

“Abdulrasheed Maina was the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform. He was secretly recalled and reinstated by President Buhari. He was even promoted to the position of Director in charge of Human Resources in the Ministry of Interior. Maina was dismissed by President Jonathan in 2013 following recommendations by the Office of the Head of Service. He was accused of stealing about 100billion naira from the pension fund.

“Zakari Biu (CP) was dismissed following his complicity in the escape from police detention of notorious Boko Haram suspect, Kabiru Sokoto. He was reinstated and promoted to the rank of AIG by President Buhari before he was gloriously retired from active service.

“Prof Usman Yusuf (NHIS Boss) was accused of squandering over 997 million naira from the schemes intervention fund. Investigation was carried out and he was dully sacked by the minister of health, but because he is President Buhari’s brother, he was recently reinstated.

“We know that President Buhari is not fighting corruption or upholding rule of law, but using the estate called Nigeria to enrich and project his Fulani kinsmen against the rest of the citizens. President Buhari’s government has finally exposed the fraudulent foundation of the British establishment called Nigeria.”

President Cyril Ramaphosa

Kessie Nair, a convicted South African fraudster has been arrested over a racist rant against the country’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa on social media.

Nair is due to appear in court on charges of inciting violence and crimen injuria, or injuring a person’s dignity, police said. His family said he had mental health issues, and needed urgent medical care as racism remains a major issue in South Africa, almost 24 years after white-minority rule ended.

In a video widely shared online, Nair, who is of Indian origin, used a racially derogatory word to describe presidentRamaphosa. The president should be “charged for defrauding this nation‚ for oppressing this nation‚ for high treason‚ for being the source to all crime and violence and poor health care and poverty in this so-called true democracy,” he added.

Subsequently, police arrested Nair in Phoenix, a mainly Indian residential area in KwaZulu-Natal province, on Wednesday following outrage over his post.

The governing African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal condemned the video as “scurrilous”, and said Mr Nair should face the “harshest punishment” but the president’s spokesman, Khusela Diko, said Nair was “clearly a sick person and his racist rant is not deserving of any airtime”, South Africa’s TimesLive news site reported.

“His tirade against the president demonstrates delusional and attention-seeking behaviour,” Mr Diko said, before the arrest. Nair, a former councillor, was sentenced to six years in prison for fraud in 2005.

‘Buhari’s order does not exonerate Senator Adeleke, he’s not free yet’, says Police

Senator Ademola Adeleke

POLITICs – This morning, the Nigeria Police force reacted to the order issued by President Buhari restricting the force from inviting Senator Ademola Adeleke of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking on Good Morning Nigeria, a programme on NTA, Jimoh Moshood, Police spokesperson, opined that the President’s order does not clear Adeleke from the alleged crimes, noting that he could be invited any time the force want.

Recall that the PDP aspirant for the forthcoming Osun gubernatorial election was on Wednesday accused of examination malpractice after West African Examination Council, WAEC, had cleared and confirmed that he sat for the 1981 council’s exams. In view of that Police declared him wanted.

However, through the intervention of Buhari on Wednesday, Police withdrew from further investigation on the matter. But reacting to the order issued by Buhari not to invite him pending when Osun election is over, Jimoh averred that Mr. President’s order does not exonerate Adeleke from his allegation.

In his words, “there is no time limit to arrest a suspect any suspect that has been accused or there is allegation of an offence can be invited at any time. Police action terminates when a matter has been taken to court. We have filed charges in court and the matter is off our hands”.

“But if there is any directive that we should not invite him, that directive does not exonerate him from allegation, court process and the people should know that the rule of law prevails above any other consideration. As at yesterday, the deputy inspector-general of police in the state have gone around the state on what we call ‘the show of force exercise’ with other security agencies.

The DIG operation is in charge of the security architecture in the state for the election, they have gone round, they have met with people and equally talk to them. We are enjoying very large cooperation from them, we are hopeful that come Saturday everything will be peaceful to secure an environment for a credible election.”
