Kenneth & Gloria Copeland Devotional 17th June 2018

Topic: Open Their Eyes to the Light

Key Verses: If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

Message: Since God doesn’t save anyone against their will, does it really do any good to pray for people who consciously refuse to receive Jesus as Lord?

Yes. Yes! Yes! It does!

You see, in spite of the fact that most all unbelievers who have purposely refused to receive Jesus as Lord think they’ve made that decision of their own free will, the truth is, they haven’t. The Word of God says they’ve been blinded by Satan. He’s blocking their perception of the truth. So their decision hasn’t been freely made at all.

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland Devotional 17th June 2018 – Open Their Eyes to the Light

That’s important for you to grasp. Because through the prayer of intercession, you can interfere with the satanic forces and help take those blinders off! You can also change circumstances with your prayers and help create situations that will bring them in contact with the Lord. You’re well within your spiritual rights when you do that.

I prayed with a friend of mine once who’d been praying for his lost brother for years. Jesus said in Matthew 12:29 to first bind the strong man and then enter his house and spoil his goods. So we said, “You spirit blinding the eyes of __________, you stop what you are doing to keep him out of the kingdom of God. In Jesus’ Name, you stop now!”

Jesus also said in Matthew 9:38, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” So we prayed, “Lord, send someone to ______________ with the Word of God. You know who he will listen to. We claim __________________ for the kingdom of God. We believe we receive his salvation and deliverance. In faith we praise You for it.”

In almost no time at all his brother called him. “What have you been doing up there?” he asked. “In the past few days, everyone I’ve come across has started preaching to me!”

Our prayers had interfered with the forces Satan had been using to blind this man to Jesus and created the circumstances to bring him into the kingdom. Sure enough, within a few days, he was born again.

Use this same prayer for your loved ones and believe when you pray and you’ll see the same results.

Don’t sit by and let the devil take your friends and loved ones without a fight. Pray. Pray! Pray! Come against the “god of this world.” Take off the blinders and open their eyes to the glorious gospel of God.

Open Doors Through Uprightness by Pastor Paul Enenche

TOPIC: OPEN DOORS THROUGH UPRIGHTNESS

SERVICE OBJECTIVE: Understanding the open door power of uprightness, integrity or Godly character

It is well known throughout scripture that good character opens doors and bad character closes doors

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF OPEN DOORS BY GOOD CHARACTER:
1. Godly character opened the marital door for Rebekah (Gen. 24:12-22, 66-67)

2. Godly character opened the door of supply for Elisha the prophet (2 Kings 4:8-11)
Character is perceivable; people’s perception of you determines your possession in life

3. Godly character opened the door of total recovery for King David (1Sam. 30:1-19)
Be careful with how you deal with people – the person you deal with today may invite people to deal with you tomorrow! (1Sam. 30:1-19)
It is confirmed that good character is far more profitable than bad character

4. Godly character opened the door for Moses (Exo. 2:15-22,3:1)
Inside your passion is your portion
When you live beyond yourself, you live beyond your limit

Open Doors Through Uprightness by Pastor Paul Enenche

Where the key of faith fails to work, the key of character will work
The door that faith fails to open, character will open it

Character will give you what money can’t give
Your character will open the door that your money cannot open.

There is no compromise without consequence, no iniquity without returns

2. Ungodly character closed the door of destiny for Gehazi (2 Kings 5:20-27)

3. Ungodly character closed the door of destiny for Samson (Judg. 16:18-21)

iii. The end of character is the beginning of captivity

4. Ungodly character closed the destiny of Judas Iscariot (John 12:1-6; Matt. 26:24-26, 27:3-5)
The loss of character equals the loss of destiny; the worth of your life is determined by the weight of your character

Topic: Only God Can Truly Satisfy

Scripture: And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].” – Revelation 21:5 (AMP)

Message: Nothing can satisfy your longing for God except communion and fellowship with Him. The apostle John wrote, And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever (1 John 2:17 AMPC).

Joyce Meyer 18 September 2018 Daily Devotional – Only God Can Truly Satisfy

The world makes it easy for you to fill your ears with all kinds of things that drown out the voice of God and push Him far into the background of your life. However, the day comes for every person when only God remains. Everything else in life eventually passes away; when it does, God will still be there. Seek God earnestly today, and He will abide in you.

Joyce Meyer 18 September 2018 Daily Devotional – Only God Can Truly Satisfy

Prayer Starter: Father, I desire a deeper, closer relationship with You. Help me to make You a priority today and every day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional 18 September 2018

Topic: Our Life Belongs to God

Scripture: Matthew 22:20-21 “And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.”

Text: Matthew 22:20-22

Message: The image on the denarius, the only small silver coin acceptable for imperial tax payments, was probably that of Tiberius Caesar (reigned A.D. 14-37). The inscription upon the coin read “Tiberius Caesar Augustus, Son of the Divine Augustus” with the reverse side reading “Chief Priest.” This inscription was a claim to divinity and as emperor, the right to be worshiped.

The Jews had tried many times to accuse Jesus on the basis of religious issues and had always failed. Now they approached Him about paying taxes in hopes that His answer might give them the opportunity to deliver Him to Pilate for prosecution.

Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional 18 September 2018 – Our Life Belongs to God

These Pharisees and Herodians reasoned that any answer that Jesus gave would be wrong. If He approved of the Roman taxes, then He would lose popularity with the masses. If He spoke against the Roman taxes, then the Jews would hand Him over to the Roman government and Pilate would dispose of Him. It looked like they had Jesus trapped. Jesus, however, answered with such simple wisdom that these Pharisees and Herodians were caught in their own trap and made to look like fools.

Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional 18 September 2018 – Our Life Belongs to God

Jesus declared, “Render (give back) to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” (Mk. 12:17). People are made in God’s image, so we must render to God the things belonging to God (our lives) and to Caesar the things belonging to Caesar (his money and other benefits of his rule).
