A viral video of Tanko Muhammad, the man who who has been confirmed by the Senate as the Chief Justice of Nigeria, can be seen finding it difficult to define a legal term.
The Nigerian Senate had yesterday screened Tanko Muhammad as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria and later confirmed him.
President Muhammadu Buhari had last Thursday presented the name of the acting chief justice for confirmation as the substantive CJN.
Buhari’s request followed the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC) to make Tanko Muhammad the substantive chief justice of Nigeria.
Tanko Muhammad was first appointed in January after the suspension the then-Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen, who was accused of false declaration of asset and disgraced out of office.
Watch the video of the newly confirmed CJN having a difficult time defining a legal technicality below.
Lol. Your CJN does not know the meaning of a legal technicality.
