Former Barcelona and Spain midfielder Xavi Hernandez who is currently the coach of Al-Sadd has revealed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
He disclosed this on his Instagram page but indicated that he is asymptomatic.
In his confirmation, he wrote “Today I won’t be able to join my team on their comeback to the official competition. David Prats will be there on my behalf as head of the technical staff – coach to the @alsaddsc reserves”.
He continued that he tested positive in their last test but feeling ok and will be in isolation till he’s cleared by the health services before he will Comeback to his daily routine.
