The Night Manager actor has insisted he doesn’t care “what anyone else says” about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Tom Hiddleston was asked about the increased attention surrounding his private life during an appearance at Comic Con.
Tom, who has recently returned from a break in Australia with the Shake It Off star, said: “I don’t know, it comes down to being authentic.
“Everything you do you have to make sure you truly believe in it and as long as you know that, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says about it.”
He added: “The nature of being a public figure is that everyone will have an opinion about anything you do, and as long as you know why you’ve done something and you’ve committed to it with authenticity then you’re OK.”
The star has previously dismissed speculation their relationship is a ‘publicity stunt’.
Meanwhile, Tom’s six-part TV series ‘The Night Manager’ has earned 12 Emmy award nominations, which the actor is “thrilled” about.
He told People magazine: “I’m so proud of ‘The Night Manager’ and the work everybody did in it and to see it nominated for 12 [Emmys].
