Scripture(ODM Devotional 6th March 2021)
Genesis 18
Yesterday’s devotional ended thus: “But this is the shocker: From those who mocked me then, many have died MYSTERIOUSLY and the few remaining can’t still believe what their eyes are seeing.” David said: “Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemies” (Psalm 23:5). Not every of your mockers will die no matter your fasting and prayers. Some will be alive to see your Glory and OPEN REWARD.
Note that when they mocked the caterpillar, they never saw the butterfly. Yes! The beautiful Butterfly you see today started out as an ugly Caterpillar. But when people were mocking the caterpillar, they never knew it was carrying a butterfly inside it. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that: There is a butterfly (beauty, glory, greatness etc) in you. You will not end up as a caterpillar (a failure, a disappointment, a nobody, etc). The mistakes you’ve made, your failures, delays and disappointments will beautify you at last because ALL THINGS will work together for your good in this year 2021!
I decree: Whatever has mocked you or was supposed to mock you before the year is over shall dry up and expire in Jesus name. In this New Year 2021, God will move you from the bus-stop of MOCKERY to the avenue of MIRACLES! Sarah was a big time mockery because of her barrenness, but it turned out to become her miracle. No matter how the year has been and no matter what your mockers are saying, our 1st scripture is the answer: “NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD.”
When things are rough and hard, always say to yourself, “nothing is too hard for my God,” I am going through my caterpillar stage and soon, I shall bring forth my butterfly. Encourage yourself, refuse to give up and shame shall not be your last bus-stop!
