Topic: Comply With The Word

Memorise
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. – John 6:63

Read
Proverbs 3:1-4
1. My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

RCCG Open Heaven 12th December 2021 Message

There are many people who could have succeeded in life if they had the privilege of being guided aright. Favour and other good things of life have eluded some believers all through their lives and they wonder why. They do not know that the key to unlocking our desires is hidden in Gods word. Proverbs 4:20-22 says

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”

The power in the word of God cannot be overemphasised. John 1:1 ,3 captures it beautifully. It says:

“In the beginning was the Word…All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

In other words, everything, man inclusive, was made by the Word of God. Our Lord Jesus, in today’s memory verse corroborates the Scripture above by assuring us that His words are spirit and life-giving, if we would abide in them.

Thus, if anyone wants favour and long life, the fellow must be Word-compliant he or she must be complaint with the Word of God (Jesus). Anyone who deviates from the Word that created him would lose divine favour and long life. Adam deviated and although he lived for nine hundred and thirty years, we see that in reality, because he lived for less than a thousand years, he lived for less than one day in the eyes of the Lord (2 Peter 3:8).

Beloved, no witch or wizard can kill you if you abide by the wonder-working Word of the Living God. Some people have been deceived; they now believe that the law of God is of no importance anymore because we are now in the dispensation of grace. Paul had seen this and warned against people taking the grace of God for granted. Apart from divine prosperity and long life on earth, eternal life is guaranteed when we abide by the Word of God, as we see in John 17:8, John 17:14-15.

Beloved, I encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ the Word and Wisdom of God, today, if you haven’t done so. If you have, constantly renew your mind through the Word of God and your life will be filled with miracles. God bless you!

Prayer Point
Father, help me to be Word-compliant so Your word will perform wonders in my life, in Jesus name.

1. All hail the power of Jesus Name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown Him Lord of all.

2. Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre,
and as they tune it, fall
Before His face Who tunes their choir,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Before His face Who tunes their choir,
and crown Him Lord of all.

3. Crown Him, ye morning stars of light,
Who fixed this floating ball;
Now hail the strength of Israels might,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Now hail the strength of Israels might,
and crown Him Lord of all.

4. Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God,
who from His altar call;
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod,
and crown Him Lord of all.

5. Ye seed of Israels chosen race,
ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
and crown Him Lord of all.
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
and crown Him Lord of all.

6. Hail Him, ye heirs of Davids line,
Whom David Lord did call,
The God incarnate, Man divine,
and crown Him Lord of all,
The God incarnate, Man divine,
and crown Him Lord of all.

7. Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget
the wormwood and the gall,
Go spread your trophies at His feet,
and crown Him Lord of all.

and crown Him Lord of all.

8. Let every tribe and every tongue
before Him prostrate fall
And shout in universal song
the crown’d Lord of all.

the crown’d Lord of all.
