TOPIC: The Power At Work Within Us
TEXT: Ephesians 3:20-21(NKJV)
20. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21. to Him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
STUDY: The dazzling power of God has no comparison; it is the great power to walk in realms beyond human description! This power subdues and destroys all powers of darkness and devils. It is the power of resurrection at work in us. Paul desired to know Jesus and the power of His resurrection (Phil 3:10). Any person who does not have this power is in danger – such a person will be prey to demonic attacks and manipulations.However, instead of coming to God for His protective power, many sell their souls for satanic power in secret societiesand charms. And this always leads them into bondage.
Child of God, you shall receive this power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and when Jesus is in you (Acts 1:8; Jn. 1:12). Through God’s divine power, you have authority over all demons; you will march upon serpents, scorpions and all the powers of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you! This is the power to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant. In all your getting, get this power, lest dryness becomes the badge of your powerless spirituality.
PRAYER: God, endue us with power from above to enable us do exploits in Jesus name. Amen.
