Donald Trump has made a second apology after a tape emerged of him making lewd remarks and boasting about groping women.
a statement released tonight he admitted his words were “foolish” and
that “Anyone who knows me, knows these words don’t reflect who I am.”
“I said it, I was wrong, and I apologise,” Trump added.
Republican presidential candidate went on “I never said I was perfect”,
before going on to say campaigning around the country in recent months
has “changed” him.
However, he went on to describe the tape as “nothing more than a distraction” from the “real world” problems facing America.
In the video released by the Washington Post earlier today, Trump is heard saying: “when you’re a star… you can do anything.”
