TOPIC: The Power to Tame the Enemy

SCRIPTURE: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The enemy and his forces are not permitted to misbehave around you.

Previously, we saw that the power to tread over the devil refers to the power to dominate, decimate and decapitate the enemy; it is the power to do with the enemy as you please. It is also the power to bring the enemy and his forces under control, and the power to walk in mastery and victory.

Now, in summary, what is the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions all about? It means:-

The enemy and his forces are not permitted to misbehave where you are.

The Power to tread upon serpents and scorpion means the enemy and his forces are not permitted to misbehave where you are. This is the power that makes the enemy know their limits. They have been programmed to know their boundaries where you are. This is what God intended when He gave you power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). The enemy and his forces are not permitted to misbehave where you are.

You know, mad men recognise fire. They know danger. You may see a drunkard fall into fire but not a mad man. As mad as a mad man could be, he recognises fire; and not only he, but also the devils inside him. For example, when a mad man is on the expressway and sees a fast moving vehicle, he will jump out of the road. Both he and the devil inside him are aware of the danger.

As a child of God, you are a danger to the enemy and his forces, and the devil recognizes the danger that you are.

I decree that from today, the devil will see the danger in you, and stop misbehaving around your life, destiny and family, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The enemy and his forces are not permitted to misbehave around you.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Exercise the power in you to tame the enemy.

2. Make up your mind to arrest the recklessness of the devil around your life.

PRAYER: I receive Your help, O’ Lord, to bring the enemy under control, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POWER TO TREAD.

QUOTE: The time has come for holy anger to burst in your spirit. Every evil operation in your generation must bow to you. In the days of Elijah, there was no evil that did not bow to the anointing he carried. One man converted a whole nation in one day! Culled from “THOU ART MY BATTLE AXE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Judges 21-Ruth 3.

AMAZING FACT: An eagle’s eyesight is around 5 times better than the human’s vision.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: From this day, your appearance is the disappearance of the enemy and his forces.

Thanks and bless you for Dunamis Sunday Live Service 21st February 2021 with Dr Paul Enenche

Gospel, Luke 11:29-32

Watch Wednesday Mass;

Reading 1, Jonah 3:1-10
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to Jonah a second time.

2 ‘Up!’ he said, ‘Go to Nineveh, the great city, and preach to it as I shall tell you.’

3 Jonah set out and went to Nineveh in obedience to the word of Yahweh. Now Nineveh was a city great beyond compare; to cross it took three days.

4 Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city and then proclaimed, ‘Only forty days more and Nineveh will be overthrown.’

5 And the people of Nineveh believed in God; they proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least.

6 When the news reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his robe, put on sackcloth and sat down in ashes.

7 He then had it proclaimed throughout Nineveh, by decree of the king and his nobles, as follows: ‘No person or animal, herd or flock, may eat anything; they may not graze, they may not drink any water.

8 All must put on sackcloth and call on God with all their might; and let everyone renounce his evil ways and violent behaviour.

9 Who knows? Perhaps God will change his mind and relent and renounce his burning wrath, so that we shall not perish.’

10 God saw their efforts to renounce their evil ways. And God relented about the disaster which he had threatened to bring on them, and did not bring it.

10 For, as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and do not return before having watered the earth, fertilising it and making it germinate to provide seed for the sower and food to eat,

11 so it is with the word that goes from my mouth: it will not return to me unfulfilled or before having carried out my good pleasure and having achieved what it was sent to do.

Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 34:4-5, 6-7, 16-17, 18-19
4 I seek Yahweh and he answers me, frees me from all my fears.

5 Fix your gaze on Yahweh and your face will grow bright, you will never hang your head in shame.

6 A pauper calls out and Yahweh hears, saves him from all his troubles.

7 The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and rescues them.

16 But Yahweh’s face is set against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

17 They cry in anguish and Yahweh hears, and rescues them from all their troubles.

18 Yahweh is near to the broken-hearted, he helps those whose spirit is crushed.

19 Though hardships without number beset the upright, Yahweh brings rescue from them all.
