International Day For Rural Women 2019, DO Foundation storms communities

15th October is conventionally celebrated as International Day for Rural Women. DO Foundation and Nigerian Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Bayelsa State Branch joined the rest of the world to celebrate mothers and sisters in rural communities.
They urged others to also appreciate our mothers who have been preserving our cultures and traditions of farming and fishing and teaching us our local dialects.
Stressing they are truly the pillars of our communities.
Remember that the 2019 International Day For Rural Women is centered on ‘Building Climate Resilience’
