Today’s Word
It’s easy to go through life feeling disqualified because of mistakes we’ve made, or negative things people have spoken over us, or even our own thoughts telling us how we don’t measure up. But when God needed someone to save the Israeli spies whom Joshua had sent into the city of Jericho, of all the people He could have chosen, He chose a prostitute by the name of Rahab, someone who’d made a mess of her life. People saw her failures, but God saw her potential. Here’s how amazing God is: not only was Rahab and her family spared, but Rahab married a Jewish man, and they and their descendants are in the family line of Jesus Christ.

God wants to make your life significant. People may have written you off, but God has written you in. He’s already qualified you, now don’t disqualify yourself. He has the final say. He says, “You’re blessed, you’re redeemed, you’re forgiven, and your best days are still ahead.”

Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You want to bring out the very best in me. Thank You that when others try to discount me and write me off, You have already counted and written me in. I believe that You have qualified me, and my best days are still ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
