Joyce Meyer Devotional 18th January 2021 Message. Joyce Meyer is an American Charismatic Christian author and speaker and president of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Joyce and her husband Dave have four grown children.

Topic: Work Now, Play Later

Scripture:…Pay your debt….
2 Kings 4:7 (AMPC)

We have seen that the Bible teaches us that we are to owe no man anything except to love him. When we allow debt to overwhelm us, it can bring discouragement and even depression. When Dave and I were young marrieds, we got into trouble with debt. We did it by running up our credit cards to the maximum buying things we wanted for ourselves and our children. We were making the minimum payment on the balance each month, but the interest was so high we never seemed to make any progress toward paying off what we owed. In fact, we just kept getting deeper and deeper into debt.

If you and I are ever going to get anywhere in the kingdom of God, we must learn to live by wisdom and not by our carnal desire, which is human emotion (SEE PROVERBS 3:13).The Bible teaches that Jesus has been made unto us wisdom, and that the Holy Spirit is wisdom within us (SEE 1 CORINTHIANS 1:30; EPHESIANS 1:17). If we will listen to the prompting of the Spirit, we will not get into trouble. But if we live by the dictates of the flesh, we are headed for destruction.

Wisdom makes the decision today it will be comfortable with tomorrow. Emotion does what feels good today and takes no thought of tomorrow. When tomorrow arrives, the wise enjoy it in peace and security, but the foolish end up in discouragement and depression. Why? Because the wise have prepared for tomorrow and are able to enjoy the fruits of their labor, while the foolish who have put pleasure first must now pay for yesterday.

It is much better to work now and play later, than to play now and worry later! It is so discouraging to go to the mailbox every day and find nothing there but bills, bills, and more bills. Eventually that discouragement leads to depression because of the pressure of not being able to see a way out. How many people are deep in depression right this moment because of overwhelming debt?

To live a disciplined life, we have to be willing to invest today so that we can reap tomorrow. To relieve the discouragement and depression that come from being in debt,we must get out of debt by becoming self-disciplined to think not of today’s sacrifices but of tomorrow’s rewards.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I know I haven’t always been mindful of the future. I ask You to help me operate in wisdom today and every day, so that I can enjoy a more peaceful tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, amen.

TOPIC: The Battle Was Time Bound! Darkness Promotes Stars

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Eccl. 3 : 1-8

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Our Daily Manna 3rd March 2021 ODM Devotional Message

Vs 14 of today’s 2nd scripture says: “Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Note the words: “AT THE TIME APPOINTED”! Ah! Those who were mocking Sarah’s barrenness never knew it was time bound.

Even Sarah herself never knew that her childlessness had an expiry date attached to it. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that in this New Year 2021, ANY ALLOWED BATTLE IN YOUR LIFE IS TIME BOUND! Fear not! Yes, your testimony, expansion, business breakthrough, OPEN REWARD STORY, promotion answers, expectations and marital connection has an appointed time.

God has a timetable for your destiny and He will ensure that it is not disrupted by anything, anybody or any power. Also note that stars cannot shine without darkness! Life is battle and war, but there are victories also! Most of the stars you admire, you admire them because of darkness. Stars are beautified by darkness.

Whatever God allows you to go through will beautify you at last. Oh! Battles bake and refine you and bring out the best in you! In 1 Samuel 1:1-18, Hannah went through a knock down of childlessness which brought shame, ridicule and mockery to her, but she refused to be knocked out. Hannah made a vow to God and the vow is called, “THE NAZARENE VOW.”

One of the ways to end reproach is by making a vow to God. She vowed that if God would bless her with a male child, she would give him back to God and no RAZOR would come upon his head. Hannah was saying, “LORD, I will not share the glory of this child with You; he will be all Yours.” In other words, the child will be a Nazarene, set apart for God’s service all the days of his life.

The razor vow is a sharp and painful vow you make to commit yourself to God and provoke heaven’s attention. Another thing Hannah did was that she refused to take a “NO” for an answer as she groaned in prayer to God and she was tagged a drunkard. She was like a mad woman! She was aggressive, radical and crazy for solution. Yes, in this year 2021, be radical and crazy about life.

Go for crazy determination! Be mad for God and walk by faith daily until your world calls you MAD! Remember that it is darkness that brings out the glory of the stars. There is a “butterfly” in you! Peace!

Kenneth Copeland Devotional 3rd March 2021 From Faith to Faith Daily Devotional Message.

Called to Be Peculiar
Gloria Copeland

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. – John 17:15-16

Being peculiar. That’s not something most of us work to achieve, is it? But, you know, we should.

God has called us to be peculiar—to stand out from the rest of the world as living proof of His power and His love (1 Peter 2:9).

He doesn’t, for example, want us to share the ailments of the world. He doesn’t want us to share their sickness and poverty and failure. He’s never wanted that for His people.

He gave us a physical illustration of that during the time the nation of Israel was held captive in Egypt. Pharaoh had refused to set the Israelites free, so God had allowed a thick darkness to cover the whole land. The darkness was so dreadful throughout Egypt that no one moved for three days.

“But,” says Exodus 10:23, “all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”

What a thrilling example of how God wants us to live. We should be glorifying God by the miraculously victorious lives we lead. We should constantly have people telling us, “I’ve heard how God healed you,” or “I’ve heard how God prospered you and saved your children!”

So don’t hold back. Put the Word of God to work in your life and dare to receive the rich blessings that belong to those who believe. Start using the Word to draw boundaries around your life, to paint spiritual warning signs for the devil. Signs that say:

Off Limits! According to God’s Word, I don’t belong to you anymore. My family doesn’t belong to you. My health doesn’t belong to you. My money doesn’t belong to you. My ministry doesn’t belong to you. I belong to a different kingdom. Now, back off in Jesus’ Name!

Does that sound a little peculiar? Good. That’s exactly what God has called you to be!

MFM Devotional 3rd March 2021 Mountain Top Life Devotional Message By Dr. D.K Olukoya

Topic: The Life of Prayer (1)

Fire Scripture: Luke 18:1

Memory verse: Luke 18:1 – “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

MFM Devotional 3rd March 2021 Outline

Prayer is talked about more than anything else but practised less than anything else. For the believer, it remains one of the greatest gifts our Lord has given us outside of salvation. It is the expression of human helplessness and insufficiency without God. It is the channel for the realisation and the actualisation of the promises of God.

This means that promises remain unrealised when prayer is not in place in a person’s life In Colossians 4:2, Paul said, “Devote yourselves to prayer” (NASB) or “Continue earnestly in prayer” (NKJV). This means that the believer should continue steadfastly in prayer and persist in it. It carries with it the idea of dedication.

Of the ten times it is used in the New Testament, four of them have to do with being devoted to prayer. In other words, persistence in prayer is not an option for the Christian; it is an order from the Lord Himself. George Muller, known as one of the greatest prayer warriors of all times, had this to say about persistence in prayer: “It is a common temptation of satan to make us give up the reading of the word and prayer when our enjoyment is gone; as if it were of no use to read the scriptures when we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to pray when we have no spirit of prayer.

The truth is that, in order to enjoy the word, we ought to continue to read it, and the way to obtain a spirit of prayer is to continue praying. The less we read the word of God, the less we desire to read it, and the less we pray, the less we desire to pray.” Jesus was passionate about His prayer life. It brought Him unmeasured power at the beginning, and kept the flow unbroken and undiminished.

There was no emergency, no difficulty, no necessity, no temptation that would not yield to prayer. Every time we see Jesus praying He was praying with passion. That was because He knew Who it was He was talking to and that prayer to the Father is a powerful thing and not something to take lightly and glibly. Passionate prayer is prayer from the heart not just from the head.

Beloved, it is important to know that relationships are serviced by communication and when we don’t pray, we deprive ourselves of our relationship with God. Therefore, make up your mind to pray always.

Motivational Quote: A prayerful person is one who has realised that he is hopeless and useless without God.

Prophetic Word: I decree upon your Life that the agenda of prayer killers will not prosper over your life, in the name of Jesus.

HYMN – Pray, always pray

1. Pray, always pray;
the Holy Spirit pleads
Within thee all thy daily,
hourly needs.

2. Pray, always pray;
beneath sin’s heaviest load
Prayer sees the blood from Jesus’
side that flow’d.

3. Pray, always pray;
though weary, faint, and lone,
Prayer nestles by the Father’s
sheltering throne.

4. Pray, always pray;
amid the world’s turmoil
Prayer keeps the heart at rest,
and nerves for toil.

5. Pray, always pray;
if joys thy pathway throng,
Prayer drinks with them of springs
that cannot fail.
