Slain Preacher laid to rest

Evangelist Eunice Olawale’s burial earlier today was attended by her husband, seven children, and numerous members of her family as well as a long line of dignitaries, Premium News24 reports. It will be recalled that Mrs. Olawale, a female preacher, was murdered by Islamic fanatics and has captured the attention of the Nigerian public.

Many of those in attendance were dressed in immaculate light blue and gathered at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The Secretary to the Federal Government, Lawal David, announced that no stone would be left unturned as their “unmask the people who perpetrated this crime.”

Other notable dignitaries at her burial include a representative of the First Lady of Nigeria, Pauline Tallen; the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina; former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwezili; and Representatives of Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigerian (PFN).
