30-year-old man arrested for defiling teenage girl who was chased away from home by her aunt In Abia (photo)

A man, 30, has been arrested for allegedly taking hostage of a 12-year-old girl and defiling her in Abia state. According to reports, the little girl who hails from Apugo in Enugu State, has been living with her aunt who allegedly maltreats her constantly and flogs her with cutlass.

The little girl who sells sachet water for her aunt, was chased away from home by the same woman on Wednesday, April 10th. The suspect took advantage of the poor orphan in pretense of accommodating her, to sexually abuse and defile the minor.

The community policing vigilante of Umuogele village in Abia caught him having sex with the girl and handed him over to the Ndiegoro Police Division.
