MANCHESTER UNITED: EARLY TEAM NEWS AHEAD OF LIVERPOOL CLASH

Manchester
United boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping all of his international stars
return to the Aon Training Complex unscathed ahead of Monday’s return
to Premier League action at Liverpool.

The Reds have
more time to prepare for the Anfield clash, which should help Sergio
Romero, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia recover from their World Cup
qualifying exploits in South America, but the fixture list has thrown up
three games in six days for Mourinho’s men.

Henrikh
Mkhitaryan missed Armenia’s matches against Romania and Poland to
continue his fight to regain full fitness, while Luke Shaw was not
rushed back by England, with interim coach Gareth Southgate stressing
last week that the left-back “isn’t quite back fit yet”.

Phil
Jones looks set to remain on the sidelines but Marouane Fellaini should
be available for Anfield as he only sat out Belgium’s victory over
Gibraltar due to suspension.

The hosts are anxious over
the availability of Adam Lallana (groin) and Georginio Wijnaldum
(hamstring) but Emre Can is likely to be an option after recovering from
the ankle injury he sustained against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup.
Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne also need to prove their fitness to
boss Jurgen Klopp.

Anthony Taylor will be the referee in Monday night’s blockbuster encounter.
