Many female students kidnapped as gunmen attack Kaduna school
The attack occurred in the early hours of Friday, March 12. The school is less than 15 kilometers to the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna.
The police spokesman, Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the incident as he said efforts are ongoing to rescue the students.
“The gunmen stormed the school around 3 am, and abducted a couple of the students. The police has deployed its operatives in the bush to trace them,” he said.
The attack is the latest in a series of abduction of students and pupils by bandits operating across northern Nigeria.
Mass kidnapping of school children in the North has become the norms as similar cases happened in Zamfara, Kaduna, Borno etc.
