MFM DEVOTIONAL 26TH JANUARY 2024 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼:
Water is life-giving to man and equally to all living things. Today’s Fire Scripture from the book of Job describes the end of a man who dies once and never gets another opportunity to come back to life. But when compared to the tree, there is more hope. Once the root of the stump of a tree that is cut is able to touch water, it shall live again! Amazingly, man who is regenerated, a new creature in Christ, also has the hope of survival at the scent of water when in distress. This is not just the ordinary water, but the Living Water, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God who makes the dead to live again!
The Psalmist, in Psalm 1 verse 3, describes the righteous man as one who is like a tree planted by the rivers of water; its leaves never fall off; it yields its fruits in due season. These are significant marks of a tree that is well nourished with water: it is always fruitful. The same applies to a human being that is well-watered by the Living Water; such a man or woman prospers.
Jesus said in John 4:14 that He is the Living Water, whoever drinks from this Source shall never be thirsty. They will spring up a well of water to eternal life in him. God is referred to as the Spring of Living Water in Jeremiah 2:13, while the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life is also indicated by the flowing of rivers of living water from the innermost being of the believer (John 7:37-39).
All these point to the fact that as a child of God, once you remain connected to God, your life will suffer no tragedy. Whatever is dying in your life shall receive fresh life at the touch of divine refreshment and nurture. You will experience the cleansing and sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. Your life shall never lack substance; neither shall you be unfruitful, in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, I strongly advise you to connect to the Living Water and stay connected today. Without Him, the Source and Giver of life, you can do nothing. Bid dryness and death farewell.

1. Spirit of hopelessness, depart from my life, never to return in the name of Jesus.
2. Spiritual dryness in my life, receive divine watering, in the name of Jesus.
3. O Lord, lead me to the still waters and refresh my soul, in the name of Jesus.

4. Holy Spirit, make me to drink from the Spring of the Living Water and thirst no more, in the name of Jesus.
5. Jesus, You are the Living Water, fill me with Your fullness, in the name of Jesus.
6. As long as I am connected to God, I shall not die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Restorer of hope, Lord Jesus, visit my life.
