MFM Daily Devotional 30th June 2021 Wednesday Outline

The Bible is a book on spiritual warfare and the nation of Israel can be described as warlike nation. They are children and favourites of God and the enemy hates them with perfect hatred. Our Fire Scripture for today reveals that God stood as the captain of the host, while the children of Israel appeared ordinary.

They had no sophisticated weapons. Pharaoh went to war with his best men of war riding on war-tested horses. The kind of weapons the enemies used showed that they were ready to fight until they wiped out the children of Israel. Unknown to Pharaoh and his hosts, they were trying to confront the Lord, who is a Man of war.

Unfortunately for them, they ran along foolishly on the expressway, which God created for the children of Israel through Moses, an expressway which they did not know how it came about.

Beloved, God usually creates a passage for the deliverance of His people in order to disgrace and destroy their enemies. The horses and their riders perished on the battlefield and the enemies of God were buried in watery grave. Pharaoh forgot the fact that those who touch God’s people are playing with fire.

When the Lord who is a Man of war fights your battles, the outcome will be in your favour. An interesting feature of the battle of the Red Sea is that, the enemy came into the battle and lost everything. I decree this morning that every enemy that comes into battle against you and your family shall perish after the order of Pharaoh, in Jesus’ name.

God proved to the world that the judgement of instant burial inside the Red Sea is the lot of all stubborn pursuers of His children. The devil is a blind fighter; he fights immediately he knows that you have a colourful destiny carrier.

The Lord will stop him from waging war against your destiny, in Jesus’ name.

Motivational Quote
Nothing can stand against our God. Whatever you face in life, if you hold your peace, God will fight your battles.

Prophetic Word
God will fight for you and you shall hold your peace, in the name of Jesus.

HYMN
The battle is the Lord’s!

1. The battle is the Lord’s!
The harvest fields are white:
How few the reaping ands appear,
Their strength how slight!
Yet victory is sure We face a vanquished foe;
Then forward with the risen Christ To battle go!

2. The battle is the Lord’s!
Not ours in strength or skill,
But His alone, in sovereign grace,
To work His will.
Ours, counting not the cost,
Unflinching, to obey;
And in His time His holy arm Shall win the day.

3. The battle is the Lord’s!
The Victor crucified
Must with the travail of His soul Be satisfied.
The pow’rs of hell shall fail,
And all God’s will be done,
Till every soul whom He has giv’n
To Chrsit be won.
