Motivational Quote:
Your marriage can be the best on earth if both of you surrender absolutely to Jesus Christ.

Fire Scripture:
Proverbs 15:1-4 – A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Gentleness is another powerful key to happy marriage. It is being noble, considerate, tolerant and peace- loving. In Prov. 15:1, the Bible affirms that it is very hard to argue with someone who insists on answering any argument with a soft voice. A rising voice or harsh words will always trigger an angry response. To turn away wrath and seek peace and happiness in your marriage, quiet words are your best choice.
Another key to a happy and successful marriage is that spouses should endeavour to resolve every disagreement with each other before the end of each day. Eph. 4:26 says you should not allow sun to go down upon your wrath.

Wives, learn how to be prudent with whatever resources your spouse can provide. Remember Proverb 31 woman who worked with her hands to support her husband. No wonder the Bible called her a virtuous woman whose price is far above rubies (Prov. 31:10). A woman of strong character, great wisdom, many skills and great compassion. Her character earned her husband great respect and recognition among the elders of the land (Prov. 31:33).

Couples in a happy and successful marriage do not take each other for granted. Nobody likes to be dishonoured. Everybody likes to be celebrated. If you take your spouse for granted, you will provoke him or her to act in a manner that may be challenging for you to have a happy marriage. You must create enough atmosphere for laughter (Prov. 17:22).

Other keys to a happy marriage include:
(1) Learn to forgive each other
(2) Pray together everyday. This is a very important key.
(3) Build trust in each other.
(4) Learn to forgive each other.
My prayer is that God Almighty, who instituted marriage, will make all Christian marriages and homes to be full of joy, success and happiness, in the name of Jesus.
