N-Power 2020 Registration (Batch C) – Are you between the ages of 18 – 35 years old? Do you want to acquire life – long skills that can help you financially and mentally? We understand! The effects of the developing economy in Nigeria can be quite distressing, right? You have the zeal and the fervor to put your University knowledge to good use but you are unable to do so, due to the current economical cues.
But no need to worry anymore! Allow us to introduce N-Power 2020 Batch C recruitment, an initiative by the Federal Government of Nigeria to guide Nigerian youths into the journey of vocational training, apprenticeship and employability.
This article will guide you on how you can successfully apply for N-Power 2020 Batch C that will start June 26, 2020 by 11:45pm.
TYPES OF N-POWER JOBS
The jobs in N-Power have a form of volunteering employment. It is a paid employment that usually lasts for 2 years. So far, N-Power has employed over 200, 000 young Nigerians from the age of 18 – 35 years of age in a bid to curb unemployment. They are planning to recruit 300,000 more! So what are you waiting for ? Why don’t you give it a try and apply?
Here are the different types of programs that young ones will be involved in:
N-Power Agro
The volunteers in this program are saddled with the responsibility of providing advisory services to farmers and agricultural professionals. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will guide them in disseminating knowledge and gathering data of Nigeria’s agricultural assets.
The ones eligible for this program will be holders of Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in Nutrition, Agriculture Sciences, Crop Science, Food Science for 2 years and the possible destinations include:
- Agriculture Extension Services Consultant
- Seed Fertilizer and other input aggregators
- Farm managers
- Public Sector jobs in agriculture
- Farming co – operatives management
- Agro – Entrepreneurship
N – Power Health
The workers here will be involved in disseminating knowledge pertaining to preventing health care and offer medical assistance to the children and pregnant women and families and individuals.
The candidates must be holders of Bachelor’s degree, HND, OND, in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, etc. It’s a 2 year contract wherein an initial training will be involved. The roles that may be carried out are:
- Health Education Specialist
- Health Promotion Coordinator
- Health Research Administrator
- Public Relations Manager
- HIV / AIDS Educator
- Health Service Manager, etc
N-Power Teach
These volunteers here are encumbered with the responsibility of facilitating basic education delivery in Nigeria. They will be teacher assistants in various primary schools across Nigeria. There are not to replace the teachers currently working in the schools. Rather, the volunteers are to assist them in school management, teaching and other functions of the school.
The candidates must be post – tertiary institution graduates from all disciplines with OND and / or NCE qualifications. It’s a 2 year training with an initial induction contract.
The life – long skills that will be acquired would stem from any of the following job destinations:
- Professional Training
- Research Analyst
- Education Consultant
- Social services analyst
- Project Manager
N-Power Tax
As the N – Power Community tax liaison officers, the volunteers here will be in charge of answering online enquiries, customer management, creating awareness of tax compliance. The aim of this group of volunteers is to encourage non – compliant and partially compliant tax payers to come clean, declare their appropriate tax and pay it to the government.
The candidates can be either unemployed graduates or non – graduates. The candidates must have completed the NYSC programme. They are also expected to have a considerable experience in Microsoft Office tools, good telephone ettiquettes, good written and spoken English.
Just like the other programs, this one will last for two years. The job roles would include:
- Tax Assessor / Collector
- Financial Analyst
- Tax Auditor
- Legal and Compliance Manager
- Accountant
N-Power Build
This program empowers youths to engage in a number of professional skills that will make them competent in the following sectors:
- Building Services
- Construction
- Aluminum and Gas
- Utilities
The candidates should be currently unemployed. They don’t necessarily need to have a degree or diploma. They should be in the range of 18 – 35 years old. Lastly, they should be interested in fixing, building and creating. The duration of the training last for 3 months. And the possible roles to acquire would be :
- Furniture and Construction Services
- Building and Construction Services
- Plumbing
- Welding etc
N-Power Creative
This program will assist 5,000 Nigerians to develop their creative talents and source out their services globally. The duration of the program is for 3 months. The first month would involve in – class tutoring while application of what has been taught will follow in the rest 2 months.
The applicants should be unemployed non – graduates or graduates with basic illustration skills , problem solving skills, analytical skills. Possible job roles would include:
- Animator
- Script Writer
- Illustration
- Film Editor
- Game Design
- Desktop Publishing etc
N-Power Tech Hardware
The aim of this programme is to empower 10,000 Nigerians to become computer device technician. With the prerequisite skills, these volunteers will be fully equipped to service devices. They will be advised on opportunities to acquire tools to practise. The participants will encompass unemployed graduates or non – graduates. The age bracket is usually 18 – 35 years old. They are expected to obtain problem solving skills and be able to undertake autodidactic tutorship. This job usually lasts for 3 months. The job positions assisgned to this program are:
- Assembly Plant Technician
- Trainer
- Device network Technician
- Device maintenance
- Device Technician
N-Power Tech Software
This is where participants with passionate interest in softwares belong. N – Power employs 10, 000 Nigerians to be trained in software development for 11 weeks. Thereafter, they will be exposed to opportunities of the sotware development market both globally and locally. Also, participants would attend job fairs where job listings will take place for the benefit of network building.
The participants may be unemployed graduates or non – graduates and 18 – 35 years old. Furthermore, the participants should own problem solving skills, be detail – oriented and analytical. The job lasts for 3 months and the possible destinations are:
- App developer
- Web Developer
- Game Developer
- System Software Developer
- Trainer
- Computer System Analyst etc
N-POWER 2020 STIPENDS AND BENEFITS

N-POWER 2020 ELIGIBILITY
The applicants that are eligible for the N-Power programs must be Nigerians, unemployed and 18 – 35 years of age. The programs are divided into 2 categories : Graduate Category and Non Graduate Category.
Graduate Category
This section addresses the Nigerians with University, Polytechnic and NCE Certificate. They will be enrolled as health workera, agriculture extension workers or teachers.
Non Graduate Category
This section applies to holders of SSCE or any related certificates. In this programs of the section, the volunteers will acquire skills pertaining to software and hardware engineering, creatives and building.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR N-POWER 2020 APPLICATION
Before you go on to apply, ensure you have the following:
- A printout or accurate details of your Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- A recent passport photograph (1M B) either J PEG or PNG files.
- Valid Contact – Email address or a working phone number
- Your Degree Certificate and NYSC certificate, if you are a graduate and wish to apply for N-Teach or N-Health.
- Government issued Identity Card:
- International Passport
- National ID Card issued by NIMC
- Valid Driver’s License
- Permanent Voter’s Card
N-POWER 2020 APPLICATION DEADLINE
The recruitment of Batch C Corps by the N-Power initiative for 2020/ 2021 will commence by noon of June 26, 2020. The deadline of the application has not yet been announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria. However, it’s advisable to commence your registration as soon as possible.
HOW TO APPLY FOR N-POWER BATCH C JOBS 2020
Once the portal re-opens for applications, Log on to www.npower.fmhds.gov.ng
(Opening Date: June 26, 2020 by 11.45pm)
Once you get on the application portal, you will be required to read the terms and conditions of the N-Power Programme and accept that all the information provided is truthful and accurate.
- Input your valid contact information (Emial or Phone Number)
- The information will redirect you to your email address for confirmation.
- Once your email address has been confirmed, fill in your 11-digit BVN and date of birth in the following order (dd/mm/yy). If your BVN details are Inaccurate, you will not be permitted to go past this interface.
- BioData and Contact Page: Fill in your surname, first name, and middle name in identical terms to your BVN information.
- Education and Programme Page: Kindly indicate if you have received education or not. The N-Power programme is open to all.
- The N-Teach and N-Health sub-programmes are however open to only graduates
- (In addition, please note that for N-Power Health, selection preference will be given to holders of Bachelor’s Degree, HND, OND in health sciences such as Medicine, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Botany, Midwifery, Psychology or other allied disciplined in the sciences).
- Where applicable, you will be required to upload your degree certificates and NYSC certificate.
- Employment and Other Details Page: You will be required to answer some questions and upload your Government issued Identity Card. Kindly note that the acceptable Government IDs are:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Permanent Voter’s Card
- Review and Submit Page
- Review all the information you have inputted and then submit.
- Upon submission, you will receive a unique ID number.Write it down and keep it safe
