News Update – The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Burutai, and the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Saddiq Abubakar, have relocated to Maiduguri as directed by the Acting President.
They arrived the Command and Control Centre in Maiduguri today.
Maj-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, disclosed this to newsmen in Maiduguri. We wish them all the best in the fight against terrorism. May God give them victory.
