He Arose

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 7; 9
TEXT: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words.
Luke 24 :5-8.
Glory be to God! Hosanna in the highest. Christ arose from the dead. As He promised, so it happened. He arose making a open show of principalities and powers triumphing over them in it (Col. 2 :15). The grave could not keep Him bound, the watch set could not stop Him, the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it; never again to return.
And as Christ arose, we arose with Him out of every grave of captivity, grave of limitation, of setback, sickness and diseases, out of whatever dominated us contrary to the will of God due to the fall of the first Adam. And we arose with Him to glory, restore to the place of our dominion seated with Him in the heavenly places (Eph. 2:6) far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Eph. 1:21.
And He made us unto our God kings and priest, and we shall reign on the earth (Rev 5:10) adding to us what He received for us to reign indeed “.. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Rev. 5:12.
Today, we celebrate God for the resurrection, the strength of Christianity. We thank God He arose.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! Thank you for the resurrection; thank you Christ arose.
