TOPIC: The COVID-19 Model Prediction: They Are Not Your God (2)

JOHN 1 : 1-1
Message: Welcome to today’s encounter with the Lord God! We will continue the story we started yesterday. The story ended in how scientists were disappointed over what they thought would be the outcome of Covid-19 in Africa. Scientists are of the opinion that part of Africa’s success is attributable to aggressive measures enacted early in the pandemic to restrict people’s movements and slow transmission within countries.
In the briefing in September 2020, Dr Matshidiso Moeti, the WHO Regional Director for Africa, said, “Governments took early, quite drastic action through the lockdowns at great cost to their economies.” Shaun Truelove, an assistant scientist and modelling expert at the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said it’s possible that some populations in Africa could have “cross-reactive immunities” from having been exposed to other circulating corona viruses. Although they say there is no firm confirmation of that yet, they are actively studying it.
Francisca Matupi, a professor of Global Health Infection and Immunity at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, is involved with research in Zimbabwean people’s immunity levels to 6 other known corona viruses. According to her, “One of the factors about the virus is that it doesn’t transmit very well outdoors. Africa has a significant population that is rural and spends a lot of time outdoors. That is one of the factors we have found from our work.” Whatever their explanations may be, one thing that has remained stunning is this: the trend in Africa has stood in stark contrast to predictions and the experience in other parts of the world.
Ah! I am led to prophesy: YOUR LIFE WILL SHOCK AND SURPRISE YOUR MOCKERS this year and beyond in Jesus name! Nathanael asked Philip in Verse 46 that we read today, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Yet out of Nazareth came the best MIRACLE ever – Jesus of Nazareth. This prompted Philip to say to him, “Come and see.”
From this day and this season, you will become a, “COME AND SEE MIRACLE.” You will be a WONDER TO MANY! Just as Africa shocked them, so will your life, family and ministry shock them. Your life will become another “Come and see” attraction in Jesus name. GET AND GIVE OUT THIS AND NEXT ODM! NEVER MISS AN EDITION! When Life ZIGZAGS, ODM creates SANITY!
