Chloe, 20 from Coulsdon, London, has told police she slept beside Lukasz Herba, 30, most nights of her ordeal.
Herba is adamant it was her wish to be in his bed, telling cops in interviews seen by The Sun: “In the days when I was there we shared the bed even though there were other beds.
“She chose to stay there – she was not obliged.”
Ms Ayling was asked by Italian cops about semen stains on the sheets and said that the Pole had performed a solo sex act on the bed while watching her step out of the shower but that she hadn’t had any sexual contact.
An advert for the property – near the Italian-French border – said it was “immersed in nature and perfect for rest, excursions and outdoor sports.”
Yesterday police in Italy and the UK were continuing to probe the bizarre case which began when Chloe walked into a consulate in Milan on July 17 claiming to have been snatched by a sex slave cult.
