OPENING PRAYER: Sanctify my life dear Lord as I study your word in Jesus name.
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Romans 8:18 – 30
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTIONS
• Q 4: Is there any promise for me to believe or hope for?
• Q 7: What truth is God revealing to me in this passage?
MESSAGE: In this world and life, things happen that cause us difficulties and pains and so the world groans because of sin as we wait for God to restore order (vs.22-25). God has not left this world to suffer while He looks on. He cares for us. God does not leave us alone to fight evil and pain.
The Holy Spirit in us helps us navigate our way through our circumstances especially during our prayer times. We do not know what is best for us and how to pray but He knows what we need as well as God’s intentions for us. He intercedes on our behalf with groanings that connects with the Father directly (v.26). He knows our desires and knows what God would like for us and pleads for that.
While the evil in the world affects us, God turns its effects around to work for our good (v.28). This is not a privilege for all people but mainly for those called and who have faith in Christ, the Redeemer (v.29). If you believe in Jesus Christ, then rejoice because you are one of those preordained for eternal life (v.30). God does not forget His chosen people.

CLOSING PRAYER
Meditate on v.28 and turn it into prayer as you face the challenges of today
Offer a prayer of faith in line with: Colossians 2:15

PARENTS DAY
And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me says the Lord Almighty. – 2 Corinthians 6:18
THANK GOD FOR:
► Our parents both physical and spiritual God has being using to show us the way to heaven.
► All they have done to ensure our growth and commitment to God and man.
PRAY FOR:
► Grace to be multiplied unto them as some may be having issues with their finance or health.
► Increased respect and deliberate prayer for them to continue in faith and to finish strong and well.
► Them to continue to practice the righteousness of God, remain in faith and in the Christ they have always believed.
PRAY AGAINST:
► Their going back to their vomits, scattering what they have built.
► Defilements and breaking from fellowship with God and man due to the situation of life they may find themselves.
