TOPIC: The Power of Your Thought
SCRIPTURE: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, – Ephesians 3:20.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your thought is either confirming your faith or nullifying your faith.
Seeds of Destiny 12th November 2021 Devotional Message:
The power or force of thought can either confirm and empower your faith or counter and disempower your faith. What you allow to cross your mind from time to time either confirms and empowers your faith or confounds and counters your faith.
Now, positive or optimistic thoughts confirm faith while negative and pessimistic thoughts confound, counter and disempower faith.
Proverbs 23:7 says,
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
One day, Jesus wanted to heal a man but people were thinking doubtful and unbelieving thoughts around him and He saw it (Matthew 9:1-8).
Beloved, your thought is either confirming your faith or nullifying your faith.
You know, thought is a form of speech, that is, inner speech. Actually, thinking is speaking, just that you don’t speak it out.
And God hears your thinking as loudly as He hears your speaking. That is why the Scripture says, “…unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).
So, your thinking is as clear to God as your talking. There are some people whose outer speech was nullified by their inner speech. What they said with their mouth was cancelled by what they thought in their heart. So, thinking is speaking. Even though you didn’t say it out, if you have thought it in, you have said it.
Beloved, do not allow your thought to nullify your word. Always think positively. Think Scriptures.
REMEMBER THIS: Your thought is either confirming your faith or nullifying your faith.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to think Scriptures always.
2. Refuse to allow negative thoughts into your heart.
PRAYER: I receive the grace not to admit negative thoughts into my mind. Help me to always think Scriptures, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: When people are given to depth of thought, they are given to depth of life. It is foolish to talk so much and think so little. Culled from “21FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.
DAILY READING: Acts 22-24
REFLECTION: Level of thought affects level of life. Low thought equals low life. To think like God is to live like Him.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The power to maintain control over your thought life is released in Jesus’ Name.
