Former President Barack Obama is enjoying an extended vacation in his home state of Hawaii, and on Thursday was photographed paddleboarding in black swim trunks in the Pacific Ocean — all the while his successor President Donald Trump was ordering an airstrike on Iran.
Obama, 58, appeared to be enjoying himself in the water when he was photographed around noon on January 2, standing atop a light-colored paddleboard and paddling himself around.
Though video shows him stumbling and falling off the board a few times, the former president mostly had a good time, according to a photographer who captured the fun.
