TOPIC: Rival Thrones
MEMORY VERSE: “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.” (Daniel 7: 9)
SCRIPTURE READING: Joshua 2: 1-24
FOCUS: “1. And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there. 2. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.” (Joshua 2: 1-2)
Apart from the inhabitants who occupied Jericho, Jericho also had a king whose posturing was to ensure that the children of Israel did not take over the city that God had ordained for them. Jericho had a king who used his throne to send men against the spies that Joshua sent. So in the journey to possessing their possession, there was a throne positioned against the children of Israel. There was a throne against their progress.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every throne that has been positioned against your rising, I command both the king and the throne to go down. I command every strong man that says you will not rise, to go down. I command every high place that is stopping your advancement, to go down. Every man who is using his high position to hinder you, I command him to go down. I command the enemies of your rising to go down.
God had ordained Jericho to be part of the Promised Land, but a king arose and said no by his posture. A king arose and enlisted men who will stand in the way of what God had said. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every king who has enlisted men to stand in the way of what the Lord has destined for you, both the king and the men, let the hand of God bring them down. Let angels arise and bring down high places that are opposing you.
Today, I enlist kings to work in your favour. I command men in high places to work in your favour. Thrones and crowns will work to fulfill the mandate of heaven for your life. Men in high places will become messengers for the fulfillment of the word of the Lord concerning you. Kings will arise and hand over your God-given territories to you. Kings will become errand boys for your rising and expansion.
Welcome to that new season where thrones and crowns will no longer work against you. Welcome to that season where heaven will cause kings to work in your favour.
DECLARATION
No throne or men in high places will work against my rising, in Jesus’ name!
