TRANSFER NEWS – Chelsea have turned down Paris Saints-Germain’s bid to sign their top defender, Marcos Alonso this summer.
According to Marca, Alonso was the top name on PSG’s list in their quest for a left-back, but the Blues fended off their approach.
The report also claimed that PSG have now turned their attentions back towards Atletico Madrid defender, Filipe Luis.
Alonso has been linked with a move back to his homeland as well as the Ligue 1 champions.
The Spain international Chelsea’s contract will expire in 2021.
He has three years left to run on his deal with the Blues, but the West London club are keen to keep the top defender.
