Topic: Be An Obedient Servant

A servant is one who serves; not someone who wants to serve or intends to serve. Obedience is the act of doing correctly what one is told to do. The greatest frustration in life is borne out of intention without corresponding action. Great manifestations are not just products of information but essentially products of information applied. Knowledge on its own is not power; knowledge is “potential-power”. It is the knowledge that is applied, utilized, and acted upon that produces power.

Jesus the Messiah knew what He would do in John 6:6 to feed 5,000 men excluding women and children; yet the loaves and the fishes did not multiply until He began to do what He knew. The power of God for multiplication and the miraculous began to work when Jesus did what He knew. Information minus action equals frustration. Information plus action equals transformation and manifestation.

In mathematics, anything multiplied by zero (0) returns to zero (0). Therefore, any information you acquire multiplied by zero (0) action ends in zero (0) manifestation. Most Christians come to Church, get excited and feel good about the messages preached but do nothing about it. So nothing changes around them or in their lives. Obedience is the easiest and shortest access to your breakthrough.

Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

A lot of Christians make the big mistake of taking good intentions (willingness) for good actions. God does not reward willingness on its own; He rewards willingness (intention) backed up with corresponding action (obedience). You must quit intending to serve God and start serving Him. Not later; now. Serving Him spiritually by winning souls and praying for the advancement of His kingdom; physically by being part of a service unit and serving fervently; financially by involving your money in the promotion of the Gospel.

Romans 12:1 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service

Your will must be subjected under God’s will irrespective of your thoughts and feelings. You become dead to self and alive to God. God’s word is what matters; not your emotion or environment. Until God fools you, He cannot fill you. “Foolishly” obey God if you want to see Him manifest in your direction.

Job 22:22, 24, (KJV) Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

Start now to obey God’s instructions. Delayed obedience is disobedience; adjusted obedience is disobedience; selective obedience is disobedience; partial obedience is disobedience and no obedience is also disobedience. Start practicing acceptable service immediately if God must respond to you immediately.

Job 36:11 (KJV) If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

As you obey God by doing the things you have read, I see God cause you to enjoy undeniable prosperity and all round pleasure in Jesus name-Amen!

God bless you
