Today’s episode starts when suja is in servants dress. Sharif is suspecious over him . He says dont you see i am also with baraat you didnt offer me anything other servant says sorry. Sharif says i have seen him somewhere. Jodha enters the venue with her brothers. Jalal smiles as she sits infront of him in veil maham is suspicious over jalal’s behavior when he sees jodha. they ask Jalal for his father for one ritual he says he is dead.
But adham is my elder he will do it for me. They gives adham arti plate he does it wrongly so priest teaches him maham fumes. Adham does the arti of jodha. Maham says if you are can we do some ritual also. She ties a taveez(scared thread) and looks jodha so evilly and says may God protect you from bed omens. They ask jodha to touch the things that will be given to poors.
Scene 6
all are in mandap and priest lits the fire maham make faces. Priest ask for their incesters jodha tells her and jalal tells his , maham says his incesters were one in million he belongs to a royal family. Sharif looks at suja he vanishes from there sharif goes behind him and suspects he is suja. Here priest ask them to change the place as per ritual. Priest ask for their hands.
Masa comes and forcefully gives her hand in jalal’s he grips it tightly. (ishq hai wo ehsas plays). Jalal puts another hand on hers. Jodha is tensed little. He then leaves her hand. Adham eyes moti and other ladies and says they are good. Maham ask him to come with me.
They comes to isolated place. Maham gives him two tight slaps . One for looking at girls at wrong place. 2nd fb is shown maham ask soldiers how killer entered the tent. Soldier informs adham came to ask about security. Maham understands. She says kill yourself but dont destroy my image. She leaves adham ask servant what her name pointing moti he says moti bai.
Scene 7
jodha and akbar stands for pheras. Jodha is in front takes the pheras. Then jodha gives flower in jalal’s hand, das ask him to put in fire. He obliges. They do the same procedure after every phera. After 3 pheras akbar comes in front and takes the rest of the pheras. Then priest ask them to take phera beside each other they take phera together. Priest ask jodha to repeat my words that you are my fate, you are my husband and i am your wife. Jodha repeats shakingly and jalal smiles. Priest gives vermillion (sindoor) to jalal asking to put in jodha’s head. He puts it in her head while there Fbs are shown. Dadi consoles masa saying jodha will be fine. Masa says she lost to fate. Shugni said it right.
Scene 8
jodha wipes her tear and gets up along with jalal. Jalal ask where is my shoes. Sharif says who dare to do this earlier when someone did that king had cut his legs. Jodha is shocked. Jalal angerily ask bring him otherwise I wont leave his feets. Small girls come, jalal sits down and ask who are you they says they stole his shoes and want gift then will return your shoes . Jalal ask what you want they says lots of dolls and toys. Jalal laughs maan singh says you cant laugh on us. Jalal says i like your bravery and orders sharif to bring all toy stalls of saamgar. One girl says to jodha he is very nice and has good looks.
jodha and akbar walks together. Jodha throws rice behind her as per ritual. Jalal keep looking at her. Bharmal ask priest every ritual is done. He nods jodha says one thing is left the soil of my land. They bring mud and jodha puts it on her head.
Jalal says he wants something also he says i want him to ge with me pointing maan singh he wanted to protect her bua. He ask bharmal can i take him his name will be written in golden letters. Maan singh says he just want to protect maternal aunt( bua ) bharmal says his father bhagwan das will also go. Jalal agrees . Bharmal says you are lucky jalal will train you.
Jodha hugs everyone one by one and remember their old memories she meets dadi, masa, sukaniya and moti and is crying. She comes to bharmal and takes his blessing. Both cries. She then remembers her every memory running behind piegon or her weight through gold coins , playing luddo with brothers etc she meets das then masa turns her. They walk toward the box(doli) masa is crying badly and kisses her forehead. All brothers hold the box on their shoulders. Suja is also there holding from one side. Jodha is holding hands of masa. Masa is left behind as jodha leaves all cries.
Scene 2
voiceover- jodha left saamgar to agra but the the distance is of 3 days so they stay at some place for night. One minister says to jalal they want to celebrate his marriage jalal says where is jodha i have heard that her voice is very good bring her she will sing. Maham smiles evily.
Scene
in mewar rana udhay singh is not giving full powers to pratap. Pratap is not able to fight with mughals with full forces. One man brings suja to him they says he shook hands with mughals pratap says leave him. I will not kill you. Suja ask why he says your death will not be punishment but you will and listens to the taunts of the people . He orders to cut the place where he was standing. He says you are responsible for whatever happend. Suja is distraught
Scene
jalal is waiting for jodha, ministers whisper first time she made jalal wait that too on their wedding night. Jalal ask the do you want to say something sharif says maham didn’t come its not right that you are waiting. Jalal says how deep the well is, water will be that much sweet and smiles. Maham comes without jodha jalal looks here and there but couldn’t see jodha.
Maham says she denied to come here. Jalal first wait then denies. He ask where is she maham says in HER tent. Jalal ask her tent means. Maham says she wished to make her tent separately. Jalal fumes and goes out. He comes to her tent and see her sleeping his angry expressions changes (bg plays).
He comes to her bed and can’t take his eyes off. Jodha wakes up and senses he is in her tent. She grabs the knife as jalal comes from behind. She attacks but jalal grips the knife and closes in on her she leans back. Jalal ask i called you to listen your voice, you didn’t come now why are you quite. You took vows that i am your husband you will do everything. She says she remember every vow and says she is his wife not servant and for every husband his wife respect is first then any order.
Jalal smiles and says i came here with my anger and you proved me culprit. He says the fear in your because of me i like and to maintain it. He gets up and puts mud on his hand and says next time you don’t need any knife because i am here to protect you but from me there is none to save you. He leaves jodha has fear. Jalal comes out smiling broadly. Sharif sees blood in his hand and thinks she attacked him but he didn’t do anything and is smiling very wierd.
Scene 5
masa is walking slowly and is sad. Dadi comes and says every girl has to go to in-laws one day. Masa says her room is all same but she is not here. There is silence here. Dont know how she is handling these mughal there alone. Dadi says other idol of kahanaji has come masa cries for her sweet songs.
Scene 6
here jodha is sitting in front of idol and start singing in melodious voice she prays to lord. Other side jalal is offering namaz(prayer). He listens to her voice and looks up at bandage. He is informed of breakfast. At breakfast all are sitting jodha comes and goes to sit maham says you have to sit with king. She obliges and sits beside him. Jalal tries to take chicken piece but can’t because of wound in hand. One girl ask jodha to help she reluctantly takes the piece and give it to jalal he holds her hand and eats with her hand jodha doesn’t look at him. He finishes jodha gives him water and washes his hands.

Maham smirks. She dries it with cloth and looks at him a little. Jalal gets up and waits for jodha as she comes out he removes his bandage , hold his sword moves it in air and smiles evilly. He leaves moti tells jodha he pretended so that she can help him eat the food. Jodha is distraught.
Scene 7
two men are talking how jalal married a hindu princess. Hameeda listens to this and recalls how jalal was born in a hindu’s house. Rukaiya also gets the news and thinks that its just another marriage of jalal jodha is just a piece of playing. Some girl informs jalal is coming all rushes to prepare for his welcome while ruk says he will come to her room first as always. In agra, jodha and jalal reaches and greets hameeda. jodha touches her feet while jalal is surprised but hameeda is happy and praises her beauty and makes her meet Bakshi who does the ritual call DooDh Duliaye. The Hindu ladies sings song in praise of Jodha’s arrival as a bride.
Jodha is overwhelmed and gets emotional and looks at Hameeda. Hameeda asks Maham to make special arrangements for Jodha and tells she will introduce the palace to Jodha herself. Maham is reminded of the curse by Hindu lady. Hameeda takes her to harem and a small talk happens and tells about all the ladies of the harem. hameeda asks why is she not happy with marriage. Jodha tells Jalal doesnt have a heart and is cruel.
Hameeda tells her that she has only seen what jalal lacks, not what he possess and hopefully after her arrival, he will get his lost heart.There is a small fight between ladies and Jodha gets to know that Ruks is the BOSS of the harem.
At the harem, Jodha’s daasi and her discuss about the power of Rukaiya and her importance in the harem.Menavati at the kali mandir, tells Shaguni bai that she has lost, and asks her to tell Jodha’s future. She says that Jodha’s future is bright, their prayers will be answered and she will earn lots of name and fame. Menavati is relieved to hear this.
Jodha asks for Motibai and finds her sitting alone, she rushes to reach Moti and comes face to face with Ruk. Both recall their first meeting.Ruks comes to know that Jodha is the one who got married to Jalal. Ruks asks to apologise and give her the necklace. Jodha gives the necklace but does not apologise. Ruks-Jodha have their second verbal fight. affraid
Someone calls Jodha to meet MA, Ruks asks Hoshiyar to keep on wearing the necklace as she has to teach Jodha a lesson.
The Hindu girls/women are eager to meet the new bride, Jodha but MA warns them to behave and they have to listen to MA’s hukum and asks them to leave the place.
Maan Singh and BDas are admiring the palace, AK is furious to see that his enemy is being treated like guests. AK is introduced to the duo. AK belittles and talks low of Rajputs. Jalal comes and greets. BDas says that looks like AK is not happy with their presence. Maan Singh tells Jalal everything to Jalal whatever AK had said to them. Jalal asks him to make arrangements for their nice stay.
MA is overlooking with anger as Jodha is adorning idol of Krishna. SHe gets irritated with bells and is about to leave when Hameeda arrives and is surprised to see the idol. MA tells Hameeda about Jodha’s conditions, Hameeda tells that Jalal is like this , he can never hurt anyone and Jodha will soon come to know this. MA notices some clothes in Hameeda’s hands, she tells that it is for Jodha, MA tells her how Jodha burnt the shaadi ka joda.
Hameeda gifts her the clothes and Jodha is surprised to see that, Hameeda tells her that she had made it specially according to her tastes and cultures. Hameeda asks her to get ready for the grand function, Jodha wonders and tells Moti, what is this function all about and is it necessary for her to attend.
A purdah in between Jodha and Jalal, both are getting married according to Islamic customs. Jalal says Qubool Hai and Jodha nods her head. sunny
All the guests including BDas/MaanSingh in the assembly hall, Hameeda Bano enters followed by Jodha who greets everyone with a pranam. Then Rukaiya arrives with her fleet of daasis and then Jodha comes to know that the verbal fight she had earlier in the day was none other than Rukaiya. Moti is worried how Ruk will take revenge from Jodha. All the ladies hand over gifts to Jodha, MA comes and gives cold stare and some gifts. Rukaiya comes and gives her the same necklace and tells her to wear it now but Jodha deflects it very wisely queen
Finally Jalal arrives,wow his BG is so awesome, he greets everyone and then takes his seat. They are asked to feed sweets to each other. Jodha takes a small bite but Jalal holds her hand ,gobbles the whole rasogolla and looks at her intently and smirks. Jalal is weighed and then tells that the gold should be distributed to the poor.
A song starts, some people perform welcoming the couple, Jalal is stealing glances on Jodha and looks at Ruks too. He goes to Ruks and she fills his ears with the attitude of Jodha and that she dint accept her gift, what will people think about her behaviour towards Jalal. Jalal gets angry and says that the real tamasha will start now No
Everyone praise the dancers and Jalal says that Agra and Mughals are full of talented people. Jalal tells that his begum, Jodha has got a very sweet voice and asks her to sing in front of everybody. Jodha is shocked as is everyone else.
Jodha stands in the middle of the hall, starts singing a song praising the valour of Rajputs, all are shocked and then stand, Jalal is angry , Ma has disapproving looks, Ruks again instigate Jalal agains Jodha as she will cause the downfall of the pride of Mughals soon, finally after some moments , Jalal shouts, BAS!!! and tells that the function is over, leaves the hall.
Ruks is furious at Jodha, MA tells that she will join hands with her to bring down Jodha. MA fans Ruks ego. MA and AK talk about the pathetic condition Jodha is into and wait for the time.. Jalal recalls the FB of Jodha’s talwar and Ruks words and decides to take revenge.
Jodha Akbar 17 March 2020 Update ends when Jodha is sleeping and she wakes up hearing some noise, Jalal is shown walking down, she spots Jalal. Jalal says that he has come to take revenge and Jodha shouts. She comes out of her dream and finds Ruks in front of her. Ruks tells her that is she surprised to find her at this hour and was she waiting for Jalal. But he will never come to her as he always spends his time/nite with her-Ruks. She tells Jalal’s likes and his fetish to achieve things and then forget about it.
