Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the new Roma head coach.
The 58-year-old has signed a three-year deal and will begin at the start of next season.
Roma, on its official Twitter handle, said: “The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.”
Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in April after just 17 months in charge of the Premier League side.
He now returns to Serie A for a second spell.
Mourinho spent two seasons with Inter Milan before leaving to join Real Madrid in 2010.
