Ariana Grande ’s drummer, Aaron Spears, has spoken about the confusion and heartbreak that occurred backstage at the Manchester Arena on Monday night after a bomb exploded killing concertgoers.
The suspected terror attack happened at the end of Ariana’s latest Dangerous Woman Tour concert yesterday, leaving 22 people dead, including children, and another 59 injured.
Drummer Spears sent a message to his local Fox News network in Washington DC, which was uploaded to Twitter by journalist Steve Chenevey on his account @SteveChenevey .
Chenevey wrote alongside the message: “Ariana Grande’s drummer (who is from DC) tells me the blast happened as the band was walking back to dressing rooms.”
