even while they are sleeping.
3 Children are a gift from the Lord,
a reward from a mother’s womb.

are like the arrows in a soldier’s hand.

will be very blessed.
He will never be defeated
when he opposes his enemy at the city gates.

MFM Devotional for 30th August 2023 MESSAGE:
The God of the Bible is the creator of heaven and earth as well as all the things, living and non living, in them. He is the desire of all ages and the governor among nations. He changes times and seasons and rules in the affairs of men. It is the height of foolery for some people to deny His existence or refuse to submit to His sovereignty.
He knows the grains of sand in the seashore. He numbers the stars and calls each of them by name. It is therefore not surprising that those who leave Him out of their planning and pursuit always meet with abysmal failure. As today’s memory verse says, if the Lord does not build the house, those who embark on building it will labour in vain. If He does not protect a city, the security operatives are only deceiving themselves.
Safety is of the Lord. Many five star generals have ignored the God factor and relied heavily on the skills, experience and weaponry of their army. Such generals have experienced shocking defeat, for by strength shall no man prevail.
Failure to rely on God is a product of pride. It gives rise to overconfidence and leads to tragic fall. Today, marriages are collapsing and homes are breaking at very alarming rates because they are not built on God and run by His word. Once the God factor is missing, a business is bound to fail and organisations that once thrived will wither and die. God is the Source of life and success.
Beloved, whatever project you are embarking upon, make God your Alpha and Omega. Make Him your foundation and pillar. Trust Him with all your heart. Do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path to success and fulfilment.
Do you want a godly spouse who will bring rainbow to your cloud and great joy to your life? Tell God to lead and help you in your search. Do you desire the fruits of the womb? Stay in God and His Word. Cast that care upon Him and He will give you great testimonies. Are your finances in bad shape? Tell God to come in and help you. If He could provide money from the mouth of a fish and feed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two pieces of fish, He can do wonders in your financial life.
Dearly Beloved, you must learn to trust the Lord in all things and at all times. He is faithful and those who trust Him will never be put to shame.

MORNING
1. Father, forgive me for not acknowledging You in my decisions and actions, in the Name of Jesus.
2. Father, forgive me for trusting in man and princes, in the Name of Jesus.
3. As from today, I declare that the God of the Bible is my all in all, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I declare that Jehovah is the builder of all things in my life, in the Name of Jesus.
5. I declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ over every area of my life, in the Name of Jesus.
6. I declare that God is my protector and preserver, in the Name of Jesus.
7. O God, You are my Alpha and Omega, manifest in my life now, in the Name of Jesus.
