Scripture: Psalm 138 : 1-8
Our Daily Manna 6 May 2021 ODM Message:
You were born and created by God to be a master and victor over the situations of life. One important tool and weapon for victory is the Bible. If you don’t develop skills in using this mighty weapon, you won’t be able to live in victory over the things that the enemy brings your way. Many Christians are faithful and ‘religious’ in reading their daily newspapers than they are in reading their Bibles.
Many never miss the early morning ‘press report’ but they don’t mind missing ‘heaven’s report’. They are quick to believe everything and anything they see on the headlines but slow to believe things they see in the Book of the prophets. When the newspaper, radio, television and Facebook takes the place of the Bible and the Holy Ghost in your daily routine, you are exposed to the evil things that the devil manufactures daily!
No wonder Smith Wigglesworth declared, “If I read the newspaper, I come out dirtier than I went in. If I read my Bible, I come out cleaner than I went in and I like being clean.” He never read newspapers! If you went to Wigglesworth’s house with a newspaper in your hand, he would shout at you before you pass through the door into the house: “Throw that filthy thing out of my house.” He refused to be distracted by the wickedness and politics of his time! He refused to be confused by the corruption of the world. He refused to be DEFORMED by the INFORMATION from the world; he chose to be TRANSFORMED by CONFORMING himself to the living Word of the living God.
Today’s scripture, Vs. 2 says that God has MAGNIFIED HIS WORD ABOVE all His name! Determine to GIVE MORE TIME TO THE WORD OF GOD than you have ever done AND THAT WORD WILL SET YOU UP for an OPEN REWARD that cannot be debated.

2. Pray over today’s word as it has ministered to you.
3. I receive GRACE to spend more time with the WORD!
4. LORD GOD, baptize me with a fresh HUNGER for Your WORD.
5. I vow by the grace of God not to spend more time with newspapers, Facebook, Instagram, TV, magazines, etc. I shall spend MORE TIME with the WORD in Jesus name.
