Scripture: Deuteronomy 33 : 19-26
Our Daily Manna 7 May 2021 Message:
Smith Wigglesworth said something powerful that always propels me to keep on developing and improving myself and my relationship with my Father GOD: “If you are in the same place today as you were yesterday, you are a back- slider.” I will say that again, “IF YOU ARE IN THE SAME PLACE TODAY AS YOU WERE YESTERDAY, YOU ARE A BACKSLIDER.” Man is created to grow! You should be able to do things today that you could not do yesterday. You should be able to achieve new and greater things today that you could not achieve yesterday.
Today’s scripture Vs. 25 makes it clear, “AS YOUR DAYS, SO SHALL BE YOUR STRENGTH BE” (Deuteronomy 33:25). This is not just talking about physical strength, but more importantly about spiritual strength. You should be growing stronger and stronger day by day. That can only happen by spending quality time with your Father and with His WORD.
Increasing strength comes as you act on the Word of God and EXERCISE YOUR FAITH in His Word and His mighty unstoppable power. The Holy Ghost is challenging you today: “DON’T BE COM- PLACENT. DON’T BE A BACKSLIDER! STRETCH YOURSELF EVERYDAY!”
Read good books! Learn new things everyday! Sharpen your communication skills! Sharpen other es- sential professional skills too. Don’t just wait and hope that God will favour you even when you make no effort to grow. LET THE FAVOUR OF GOD COMING YOUR WAY MEET WITH AN EX- CELLENT SKILL. THOSE TWO THINGS WILL MAKE YOU IR- RESISTIBLE! Grow in 2021!
