Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip was reportedly taken to hospital on Friday, December 20, as a precautionary measure for treatment for a pre-existing condition.
The prince, who is Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, was admitted as a precautionary measure in relation to a preexisting condition on the advice of his doctor, the palace added.
It was a planned visit and the 98-year-old walked in for treatment, a spokesperson for the palace told newsmen, adding the queen remains at her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk in eastern England.
Although the 98-year-old royal has had a series of health scares over the last seven years, he is robustly hale for his years.
