Watch Video: Screaming man forcibly removed from SFO-bound Aeromexico flight

A screaming male passenger aboard an Aeromexico flight from Mexico City to San Francisco was forcibly removed from the plane after he caused a scene which was caught on video.

The plane had to make an emergency landing on Aug. 22 so flight crew could remove the disorderly passenger. The video shows the man screaming, struggling and cursing in Spanish as officials try to remove him from the plane. He even went as far as to bite one of the airline staff.

“He’s biting me,” says one of the employees as he tried to get the man off the plane. Another employee is seen asking the man to stay calm. A flight attendant can also be heard asking passengers to turn off their cell phones.

Laura Aceves, 20, who filmed the incident on her phone, said about 30 minutes into the flight, a flight attendant announced they would be making an emergency landing. She said passengers began to think the worst, her and her boyfriend inclusive. One passenger asked what was going on, a flight attendant said a passenger was drunk and “being aggressive.”

According to Aceves, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Guadalajara.

“It took them 30 to 40 minutes to get him out of his seat and off the plane. He was hitting and punching other passengers as they were trying to drag him out,” Aceves said.

The flight resumed its route toward San Francisco after officials removed the disruptive passenger from the aircraft. It touched down at SFO at 10:53 p.m., about an hour and 20 minutes late.
