PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP ‘SHITHOLE’ COMMENT !
Yes we Africans have the right to feel insulted by the blunt, racial and derogatory comment of the Pesident of the United States of America. We also have the right to vent our disappointments and loss of trust and hope on the Trump’s-led administration.
We have the right to defend ourselves and tell the world how we are not a shit-hole nation/ continent. It falls within our fundamental human right to say who we are even when the outside world sees the exact opposite of what we profess .
No one will ever agree that his mother is a bad cook. It is natural to defend your mother when asked if she is a good cook or not . Such is the sentiment I see in all my African brothers and sisters .
Are Africans shit-hole people? Of course not . Are our leaders shit -hole leaders? You be the judge after reading.
DEFINITION :
A shit hole or the anus is a passage through which we discharge waste products from our body. The only work a shit hole does in our body is to help us waste unwanted products in our body or pass out gas. Nothing good comes out from a shit hole except waste product.
Having defined what a shit hole is, let us determine who the real shit hole is.
Listen dear Africans. Trump may have been wrong in his diction, but a critical thinker would agree with me that his assertion was a result of transferred aggression . You are free to tag him a racist but the truth remains that Trump is a leader who does not fail in his promises . All what he has been doing is exactly what he promised the American people who elected him as their President, unlike our African leaders who promise us heaven on earth during election campaign only to unleash hell to us after winning election.
President Trump promised to tighten the US borders, promised to nullify the Iran Nuclear deal, promised to deport illegal migrants, promised to curb terrorism and to protect the lives of all Americans at home and in diaspora. He Promised to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. If you have forgotten all of a sudden, his slogan is and still remains:” MAGA’ which translates to – “Make America Great Again” . This is his mandate as contained in his manifesto. He is not like our lying African politicians who cajole us into voting for them with promises of heaven on earth which they always donot fulfil .
I have been following Trump since his Presidential Candidacy and one thing I can tell you is that Trump is a man who does what he says . Remember he hasn’t occupied any political office before now . He is not the regular politician that you think . He says it the way it is . I remember him saying that our African leaders are useless . I remember him saying that the US needs to recolonize Africa again for another 100 years so that we can at least learn . This is because our leaders have been failing us since time immemorial .
Now answer these questions …
1. Leaders who loot their country dry, use their nations monies to invest in Europe and in America are they not from a shit hole country ?
2. Leaders who will pocket funds budgeted for education , send their kids to study in Europe and America while the educational system in their countries is left in ruins are they not from a shit hole countries ?
3. Leaders who rule on religious and ethnic sentiments who appoints their ministers based on ethnicity and religious beliefs, are they not from a shit hole countries ?
4. Leaders who will never build sustainable modern infrastructures including hospitals in their countries, who will prefer to travel to the UK or America for treatment, leaders who will never invest in the health care sector are they not from a shit hole countries ?
5. Leaders who will never protect the lives of his citizens from external aggression, leaders who value the lives of cows more than the lives of his citizens are such leaders not from a shit hole countries ?
6. Leaders who can not assure their citizens of at least 24 hours electric power supply are they not from a shit hole countries ?
7. Leaders who will always lie to their citizens, playing the blame game instead of being a responsible government and fixing problems are they not from a shit hole countries ?
8. Leaders who lie to us that we are the leaders of tomorrow yet they are still clinging on to power even when they are well over 70 are they not from a shit hole countries ?
9. Leaders who still return to power after failing us in past administrations, leaders who still win elections from their prison corners, leaders who avoid Presidential debates and still manages to win election after massive rigging are they not from a shit hole countries ?
10. Leaders who will never create jobs or empower youths are they not from a shit hole countries ?
11. Countries where freedom of speech is a crime, where freedom of worship is a taboo , where one religion feels the country is theirs are they not a shit hole countries ?
12. Countries where you pay utility bills even without getting the required services are such countries not a shit hole countries ?
13. Countries where nothing works , where the police will arrest you because you are too young to own a car , the police will stop you on the way and demand the receipt of your cell phones and laptops, countries where the police will search your private mobile phone and brutalize you for refusing him access to your mobile phones is that not a shit hole country ?
14. A country where herdsmen terrorize citizens, slaughter them and go scot free is that not a shit hole country ?
15 . A country where unarmed protesters are proscribed as terrorists , shot at and subjected to inhuman treatment is that not a shit hole country ?
16. A country where criminals ( Politicians who embezzled public funds) are celebrated, given chieftaincy titles , a country where militants and arm robbers are crowned Kings without sending them to prisons to serve as deterrent to future offenders, is that not a shitty country ?
A continent where you are hated by your fellow African black brother just because you do not share the same Nationality with him , is that not a shit hole continent ? A continent where black people kill their fellow black brothers all in the name of xenophobia is that not a shit hole country ? Only those who have traveled around South Africa and North Africa and West and East Africa will attest to the fact that Africans hate themselves . Travel and see for yourself .
The modern slave trade which was recently reintroduced happened in Libya, African soil. Xenophobia happened in South Africa . Ghana once asked Nigerians to leave their country and Nigerians retaliated with Ghana Must Go !
A black man is not free in Egypt and Morrocco and Algeria because of his skin colour . Other parts of Cameroon are currently killing the Southern Cameroonian minorities , you dare not cross freely to a French speaking African country if you are from the English speaking side. Yet we are all Africans .
Do we really need President Trump to remind us how shitty we are ?
Yes , I recognise notable Africans who have contributed immensely to the growth of America, Europe, Asia and the world at large but Charity they say begins at home .
It is pathetic that as shitty and nauseating this shit hole comment may sound, our African youths will still re-elect those worn out , old and greedy fruitless leaders who looted us dry, who are concerned about enriching their pockets just to prove how we are a people from a shit hole country and continent .
President Trump’s message is clear: Africans should come together to develop Africa and take their destiny in their own hands.
