An Ebola ‘epidemic’ has been declared in the Democratic Republic of Congo after several deaths have been linked to the killer virus. The World Health Organisation said three people have been killed. Another person is known to have developed the virus and is exhibiting fever symptoms. A spokesman for health agency says it is taking the situation “very seriously”. No fewer than 258 more Nigerian returnees from Libya arrived the country yesterday aboard a chartered Airbus A330-200 with registration mark 5A-LAT operated by Libya Airlines. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the aircraft landed about 9:43 p.m. at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
