Two Muslim men were ordered off a plane and made to go back through security after passengers complained that they were ‘making gestures’ to each other. The men were taken off the Izmir to Manchester service before the Thomas Cook service left the Turkish airport. The supreme court has upheld the election of Okezie Ikpeazu as Abia state governor. On June 27, Okon Abang, a judge of the federal high court, Abuja, ordered Ikpeazu’s removal on the allegation that he submitted false tax documents to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
