Luke 13:10-17
10 Jesus taught in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day. 11 A woman was there who had an evil spirit inside her. It had made the woman crippled for 18 years. Her back was always bent; she could not stand up straight. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called to her, “Woman, you have been made free from your sickness!” 13 He laid his hands on her, and immediately she was able to stand up straight. She began praising God.
14 The synagogue leader was angry because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day. He said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come to be healed on one of those days. Don’t come for healing on the Sabbath day.”
15 The Lord answered, “You people are hypocrites! All of you untie your work animals and lead them to drink water every day—even on the Sabbath day. 16 This woman that I healed is a true descendant of Abraham. But Satan has held her for 18 years. Surely it is not wrong for her to be made free from her sickness on a Sabbath day!” 17 When Jesus said this, all those who were criticizing him felt ashamed of themselves. And all the people were happy for the wonderful things he was doing.
MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 30TH JUNE 2023 MESSAGE:
Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The Bible also affirms that Jesus, the Son of God, was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. One of the signs that Jesus affirmed would follow believers is that they shall cast out demons. Jesus identified the demon that held that woman bound and bent her double. He then cast it out, and the chain broke.
Beloved, as a believer, Jesus has delegated to you the power and authority to bind and cast out demons, to bind and loose, as well as to heal, save, and deliver the oppressed. If you have faith and do not doubt, you will issue the same command Jesus gave to set that woman free, and you will terminate and destroy the enemy’s activities in your life and in the lives of others.
God has given us dominion over all the work of His hands and placed all things under our feet. He has also given us power over serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy. Arise, enforce your dominion, and use your God-given authority!
Jesus delegated great authority to you and me. Matthew 18:18 says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Decree that every evil chain binding any dead or malfunctioning area of your life breaks and burns to ashes. Command any strong man troubling any area of your life to collide with the Rock of Ages and burn to ashes.
“My business, you are loosed. My career, you are loosed. My finances, you are loosed. My marriage, you are loosed. My ministry, you are loosed. My life and destiny, you are loosed.” Mention that malfunctioning organ in your body and with unwavering faith, tell it, “You are loosed, in the Name of Jesus.”
In deliverance, animate and inanimate things hear and obey instructions. Have faith in God, and you will reign in life.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. I release any area of my life that is bound from the chains of the enemy, in the Name of Jesus.
2. Any power assigned to bind my brain and career, release me now and perish, in the Name of Jesus.
3. Any challenge programmed into my life to hinder me, perish now, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Any good thing that is dead in my life, come alive now, in the Name of Jesus.
5. Any good thing that is malfunctioning in my life, be released and receive the power of resurrection, in the Name of Jesus.
6. Evil covenants and curses assigned to waste me, break now, in the Name of Jesus.
7. Satanic agenda for my life, be aborted by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
