Ohio Judge orders six deputies to tape man’s mouth shut during sentencing (Video)

Here is the moment an Ohio judge ordered six deputies to tape a man’s mouth shut because he won’t stop talking during sentencing

This occured in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday.

According to WGNTV, 32-year-old Franklyn Williams was accused of three armed robberies in Richmond Heights and Euclid.

During his sentencing hearing, Williams would not stop talking, despite more than a dozen warnings from Judge John Russo which lasted for about 30 minutes. Willams even interrupted his own attorneys.

The situation left the judge with no other option than ordering six deputies to tape the defendant’s mouth shut.

In the video, Six deputies can be seen standing around Williams as one applied the red tape, but he continued to speak. The judge then instructed deputies to put another piece of tape over his mouth in order to continue with the court proceedings.

In the end, Judge Russo sentenced Williams to 24 years in prison.

Back in December, Williams was convicted on counts of aggravated robbery, kidnapping, theft, misuse of credit cards and having weapons under a disability, according to court documents.
