TOPIC: A Key To Divine Health
SCRIPTURE: There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One key to living in Divine health is the revelation of our membership of the Body of Jesus Christ.
SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR TODAY:
The Scripture makes it clear that it is the Will of God for His children to live in Divine Health (3 John 2).
One key to living in Divine health is the revelation of our membership of the Body of Jesus Christ.
You see, the church is His (Christ’s) Body. You are a member of the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:4-6 says,
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
There is one Body, which is Christ Jesus.
John 1:16 says,
And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Please, note that every department of a lion is a lionic; and every part of an Elephant is Elephantic. In the same way, every Department (or Body) of Christ is Christic.
This means, what cannot be said of the Head (who is Christ) is not permitted to be in the Body of Christ (the Believers). Also, what cannot be found in the vine cannot be found in the branches. Whatever is not His (Christ’s) testimony is not permitted to be your testimony because you are a member of His Body.
Now, I ask you a question: is it possible for someone’s leg to be sick and is on admission in the hospital and the rest of his body is healthy, lively and working?
To put it in a clearer way: is it possible for Jesus Christ as the Head, who is seated in heavenly places far above principalities and powers (Ephesians 1:20-22), to be whole, and you, as a member and Department of His Body are being tormented and afflicted by the enemy? Impossible! It cannot happen.
Therefore, know that if Jesus cannot be sick, you cannot be sick.
REMEMBER THIS: One key to Divine health is the revelation of our membership of the Body of Jesus Christ.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Go through today’s message again to understand your membership of the Body of Christ.
2. Based on this revelation, reject sickness in your life. Believe that if Christ cannot be sick, you cannot be sick.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to see my membership with Christ. Based on this revelation, I curse every sickness in my body, Lord, in Jesus’ Name. And I declare that if Christ cannot be sick, I cannot be sick.
