A 39-year-old woman and an alleged fraudster identified as Sahadatu Abdul-Rahman, has been arrested by authorities in Ghana during her honeymoon, for scamming market women.

She was arrested by operatives of the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI).

The lady who was said to have defrauded market women in Tamale was arrested while on honeymoon.

According to the report by Ghanaweb, officials of the BNI monitored and arrested the Sahadatu at a secret location.

Sahadatu was said to have been a bride in a recently held wedding at the Bethel Prayer Ministry International at Anomangye-Mpatasie in Kumasi.

After the wedding, she went to enjoy her honeymoon period with her new husband when the police swoop in to arrest her.

Saharatu Adams Lizy who is said to have been playing hide and seek with security agencies, is neck-deep in series of fraud cases in the country.

Sources reveal that she has also duped market women within the Tamale Metropolis running into several millions of Ghana Cedis and thereafter went into hiding with her accomplices until she was arrested.

Her mode of operation was collecting various foodstuffs from the women under the guise of supplying them to the Ghana School Feeding Programme with the promise to pay them with interest but failed to fulfill her part of the bargain.
